Obituary of Ada Stuchell

Ada Virginia Stuchell, 87, of Reedsville, passed away on Monday May 16, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 15, 1923 in Keyser, WV, the daughter of the late Oliver and Pearl Victoria Warnick. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kanes Creek United Methodist Church for 50+ years. She was the treasurer for the Kanes Creek Womens Society for 24 years. She is survived by two daughters, Grace L. Booker and husband Walter of Kingwood, and Patricia Martin of Reedsville; four sons, Roger Stuchell and wife Eleanor (Sue) of Arthurdale, Joe Stuchell and wife Donna of Reedsville, Delbert Stuchell and wife Helen of Reedsville, and Michael Stuchell and wife Linda Stuchell of Reedsville; a daughter in law Betty J Stuchell of Morgantown ;one sister Carmelita Moran and husband Lawrence of Arthurdale; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carney Melvin Stuchell in 1981; and two sons, Charlie Stuchell (infant) and Thomas D Stuchell in 2005; and a son in law Roy Martin. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home, Masontown, WV on Wednesday May 18 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm and on Thursday May 19 from Noon - 1 pm at the Kanes Creek United Methodist Church, where services will be held at 1 pm with the Pastor John Broksy officiating. Interment will follow at the Reedsville Cemetery.
