Stemple, age 86, of Hedgesville, WV, formerly of Masontown, WV, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Heartland of Martinsburg. He was born on July 2, 1921 in Aurora, WV, a son of the late Grover C. and Mary Payton Stemple. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by two sons and spouses, Ronald W. Stemple of Spotsylvania, VA, Harry Scott and Tammy Stemple of Hedgesville, WV; one daughter and spouse, Judith K. and Dennis Stiles of Spotsylvania, VA; seven grandchildren, Christopher D. Stiles, Steven Stiles, Charles R. Stiles, Donna Richards, Catherine Stemple, Jessica Stemple and Kayla Stemple; four great grandchildren; one brother, Junior Charles Stemple and two sisters, Julia Lemaster and Thelma Beltezer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Elleen Watson Stemple and one brother, John W. Stemple. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12 noon time of service with the Rev. Ronald Funk officiating. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery.
