Obituary of Shirley Spencer

Shirley Ann Spencer, 66, of Masontown, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Morgantown on February 4, 1945, a daughter of the late George and Ruby Bonnett Alt. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by four daughters; Pam Dalton and husband Ricky of Fairmont, Mary Greathouse and husband Danny of Masontown, Cindy Spencer and companion Fred Rohr of Bruceton Mils, Henrietta Riddle and husband James of Del.Rio, TN.; one son, Dennis Spencer and companion Stacy Ritchy of Masontown, three brothers George Alt of Carlsbad, NM., Bobby Alt of Morgantown., and Ronnie Alt of Morgantown; 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Denise Spencer and Madeline Spencer; one granddaughter Amber Rohr; two brothers , Jessie Alt and Eugene Alt; and two sisters, Nancy Spencer and Louise Deavers. Friends may call at Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Field Funeral Home with Rev.
