Obituary of Sandra Shaffer

Sandra L. Bailey Shaffer, 74, of Morgantown passed away Saturday August 13, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born July 25, 1937 in Paw Paw, WV a daughter of the late Elmer M. and Vernetta W. Bailey. Sandra retired from West Virginia University after 17 years of service as a housekeeper. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Shaffer and Charles Shaffer; one daughter, Janet Lee Shaffer; four grandchildren, Raymond Shaffer, Amanda Shaffer, Jeremy Shaffer, and Bobby Shriver; and four great grandchildren, Avery, Andrew, Kylee and Emily. She was preceded in death by a son Raymond Shaffer. Private services will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown. Field Funeral Home in Masontown are in charge of arrangements.
