Obituary of Bessie Bolyard

Bessie Virginia Bolyard, age 95, of Tunnelton, passed away Monday, October 26th, 2009 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. She was born in Tunnelton, February 4, 1914, a daughter of the late James H. and Alice M. Cline Myers. She was a homemaker, member of Christian Fellowship Chapel in Tunnelton, and the Tunnelton Senior Center. She was a 1932 graduate of Tunnelton High. She is survived by one son and spouse, Wilbert and Naoma Kay Bolyard of Tunnelton; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Bolyard and Nathan and spouse Carolyn Bolyard; three great grandchildren and spouses, Greg and Melissa Bolyard, Patrick Bolyard, and Lori and Wesley Haught; four step great grandchildren and spouses, Deb and Glenn Rosson, Lisa and Greg McDonald, Scott and Wendy Williams, and Polly Williams; two great great grandchildren, Lillian Bolyard, and Peyton "Joy" Bolyard, one nephew, Arthur Myers and spouse Fifi, one niece Lena Weaver and husband Donald, several other nieces and nephews, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Hamilton Bolyard in 1969; one brother, Everett Myers; and a sister in law, Josephine Myers. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday October 29, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. and on Friday October 30 from noon until the 2 p.m. service time with Rev.
