Obituary of Barbara Menear

Barbara J. Menear, 73, of Masontown, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at the home of her daughter Cynthia, in Lower Burrell, PA. She was born in Preston County, on July 11, 1938, a daughter of the late Mary Juanita Boring and George Mitchell Zinn. Barbara was a graduate of Masontown High School and was a Methodist by faith. She was employed as a Hospitality Coordinator for the Hilton Corporation and worked throughout the U.S. until she retired in 2007. She is survived by her husband John Menear; one daughter, Cynthia A. Rusak, and her husband John of Lower Burrell, PA; three sons, William E. Hornick and his wife Shannon, of Turtle Creek, PA; Mark M. Hornick of Braddock Hills, PA; and Ronald Kirkham, Jr., of Morgantown; one sister, Diane Sypolt and husband Harold of Bretz; and 10 grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Michael Zinn; and one sister, Shirley Lorenzo. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday January 25, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held 11 am Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev.
