Anabel Menear Viewing times: Sunday August 13, 2006 from 2 until 6 p.m. Funeral time: 1:00 p.m. Monday August 14, 2006 Burial location: Arthurdale Cemetery Notes: Annabel Lee McLaughlin Menear 76, of Reedsville, WV (Kingwood Pike) died August 11, 2006 at her home. She was born August 6, 1930 at Arthurdale the daughter of the late Joseph Harvey and Nellie Jane Hall McLaughlin. Annabel was a homemaker and helped manage numerous family business’s over the years. She graduated from Arthurdale High School in 1948 and was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Arthurdale where she served as a Deacon. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter “Pete” Menear; one son and spouse, Wesley and Barbara Menear of Reedsville, WV; one daughter, Jennifer Menear; two brothers, Larry McLaughlin of Milwaukee, WI and Robert McLaughlin of Arthurdale, WV; three sisters, Norma Turner of Woodland Hills, CA, Glenda Stump of Springfield, VA and Linda Honchell of Springfield, OH; three grandchildren, Lindsy Whittaker, Logan Menear, and Colton Menear. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Lucille Lykins and Winola Martin; and two brothers, Paul McLaughlin and Joseph McLaughlin. Friends will be received at Field Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2006. The funeral service will be held Monday August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Spence officiating. Burial will follow at the Arthurdale Cemetery.
