Obituary of Wanda Blosser

Wanda Dee Blosser, 59, of Bretz, passed away on Thursday, June 17th, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Morgantown. She was born November 14, 1950, in Binkleman, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Bernard B. & Anna Miller of Nebraska. She worked at Omaha Towel & Linen before leaving Nebraska for West Virginia. She was also employed as a Security Guard for Brinks Armored Trucks and Ames Department Store, as well as a Nurses Aid for several years at WVU Hospital and Morgan Manor. She volunteered as a Den Mother for Pack 91 for 8 years. She loved being with her family and friends and loved being with her grandchildren, whom she adored with all of her heart. She enjoyed painting and being outdoors tending to her flower gardens. Wanda was a very kind and loving person with a good heart. She will be deeply missed by all her knew her. She is survived by three children, Jerry (Scooter) Blosser Jr, Chantz Blosser, both of Bretz, and a daughter, Anna & spouse Preston Thomas, of Cheat Lake; three grandchildren, Tyson, Trevor, & Taya Thomas, all of Cheat Lake; one sister, Lila & spouse Richard Appleton, of Mt. Home, ID: one brother, Ronald Miller, of Red Oak, IA; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Blosser, Sr, whom she married on October 13, 1976, and lost on June 10, 1993; one brother Bert Cleland; and one sister, LoeAnn Allen. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, June 22 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 23 at 1pm. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Morgantown, WV. Donations may be made in her memory to the Field Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
