She was born March 13, 1922 in Kingwood a daughter of the late Leopold and Mary Petymock Melchek She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Rupert and Faye Melchek of Masontown; and one grandson, Robert Melchek also of Masontown. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by five brothers, John Melchek, Stanley Melchek, Jimmy Melchek, Walter Melchek, and Frank Melchek; and two sisters, Helen Greaser and Leona Smith. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday July 12, 2006 from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 13, 2006 at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Funk officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood.
