Obituary of Arlin Blosser

Arlin Blosser Viewing times: No viewing Funeral time: To be announced Notes: Arlin L. Blosser, age 83, of Bretz, WV passed away Monday, December 3rd, 2007 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Morgantown, WV on September 12, 1924, the son of the late Amandus L. and Leona Nicholson Blosser. Mr. Blosser served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He worked at the Richard Coal Mines, Silman Manufacturing, Montgomery Wards, Lockheed Martin Aircraft (where he specialized in electronics), and later retired from Charter Engineers. He was a lifetime member of the Masontown VFW Post # 1589. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Eveleyn Scheuvront Blosser to whom he married July 13, 1946; one daughter and spouse, Susan Martin and husband Gary of Independence; one son, Richard Blosser and wife Debbie of Oswego, OK.; two sisters, Ruth Burns and husband Robert of Garrettsville, OH., and Evelyn White of Morgantown; 10 Grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jean Simms; three sons, Arlin Blooser Jr., Steve Blosser, and Robert John Blosser; one sister, Viola Cartwright; and eight brothers; Edward Blosser, Jimmy Blosser, Robert Blosser, Jerry Blosser, Richard Blosser, Donald Blosser, Albert Blosser, and Ronald Blosser. Cremation services will be provided by the Field Funeral Home in Masontown. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
