Obituary of Patricia Ann Koontz

Patricia Ann Koontz, 78, of Arthurdale, WV, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Kingwood Healthcare Center.

She was born in Morgantown, WV on May 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Lewis DeBardi and Philomena (Lawrence) Sisler.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She worked at Streets Store for many years. Patricia loved to cook and was known for her homemade bread and meatballs. Above all her greatest joy was taking care of her boys.

Patricia is survived by three sons, Jack Koontz and wife Marcy of Arthurdale, Shane Koontz of Masontown and Clayton Koontz and wife Brandy of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Felicia Beshears and husband Aaron , Levi Koontz, Payton Koontz and Cameron Koontz; three great grandchildren, Trinity Beshears, Bentley Beshears, Bexton Sisler; a brother, Todd Sisler and wife Sonya of Kingwood, two nieces Brittany Sisler and Breanna Osborne and one great niece, Taytum Osborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Koontz; two grandchildren, Johnna and Jordan Koontz and her stepfather, Woodford "Woody" Sisler.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 11:00 am until the 3:00 pm time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Interment will follow at the Masontown Cemetery.
