Elizabeth Ann Lowdermilk Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Manko) Lowdermilk, 89, of Masontown, WV, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at home.



She was born in Kingwood, WV on June 15, 1935, a daughter of the late John Paul and Hester Marie (Gribble) Manko.



Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Kingwood High School Class of 1953. Elizabeth was a past member of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to crochet and camp at Mileson's Campground. Elizabeth attended KAC Ministries and was an active sports grandmother.



Elizabeth is survived by the love of her life and husband of 68 years, Wade "Buck" Bernard Lowdermilk, Sr., three daughters, Carolyn Whittaker and husband Mark, Diana "Bush" Lowdermilk and Margie Lowdermilk; seven grandchildren, Harley Wiley, Elizabeth Miller, Stephanie Poland, Jennifer Whittaker, Heather Whittaker, Kattie Donahue and Michael Lowdermilk; 20 great grandchildren and one brother, Ralph Manko and his wife Bertha.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Wade "Bucky" Lowdermilk Jr. and three brothers, Lewis Manko, June Manko, and Glen Manko.



Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 2 to 6 pm and Monday, August 12, 2024, from noon until the 1 pm time of service with Pastor AC Mann and Adam Donahue officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood.
