Thelma Adeline Perry
Thelma Adeline (Holt) Perry, age 87, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 after a 7 year struggle
with Alzheimer’s. She was born October 29, 1936 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She married Doyle Dean
Perry when she was only 16 and with him being in the Air Force they traveled the world. They
eventually settled in Lake Lynn, PA where Thelma has lived for the last 45 years.
Thelma had several occupations. She was a licensed hair dresser. A cook for county schools and she
retired from working at the Department of Energy as a security guard.
She loved to travel, she loved her dogs, she loved her yard and she loved her sister-in-law, Jean Holt,
whom she always considered a sister.
Sidney Monroe and Bernice Permelia Holt, her parents preceded her in death. As did her husband, Doyle
Dean Perry, divorced but married for almost 58 years. And their first infant baby daughter Pamela Dean.
One baby Grand daughter and 2 sisters, Helen and Evia Jean and 4 brothers, Leon, Sidney Jr, Ben and
Dean.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Bonnie Louis and Mary Ann Finto and 1 brother, Melvin Holt. She is also
survived by her 3 daughters and 1 son, 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Oldest daughter Gwen and her husband Joe Crouse, their daughter Erin and their son Jeremy and his
wife Giovanna and their son Drake.
Daughter Gail and her sons Anthony and Vincent Giorgini. Her husband Dan Gillium, step daughter
Kassaundra and her husband Adam Messick and their daughter Addison. Step daughter Katelyn and her
husband Lampford Mark and their daughter Rocklyn. And step daughter Kacie and her husband Ramses
Chaves and their son Roman.
Daughter Patricia and her husband Rick Griffith. Their youngest son Derrick. Oldest son Patrick and his
son Kadin. Patrick’s wife Haylee and their 3 daughters Hadley, Harlow and Hyland. Their daughter
Shauna and her husband Patrick Southern. Their daughter Amber and her husband Ron Kolvacin and
their two daughters Addison and Bailey.
Son Doyle Perry Jr and his wife Cyndi, their daughter Raegan and stepdaughter Jennifer and her husband
Justin Hiltbrunner and their son Jaxson. Stepson Brian and his wife Kody and their daughter Octavia.
To honor her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to the Field Funeral Home in Masontown.
