Bennett, 54, of Tunnelton, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at home. He was born, October 15,1952, in Hinton, WV, a son of Anna June Hyer Wood, of Crown City, Ohio and the late Junior Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Terri Plum Bennett, his children; Shayna, Brady, and Brandon Bennett, Sharra Plum all of Tunnelton and Matthew, Jason, and Christy Bennett all of Boston, MA; two grandchildren, J.J. and Kayla; brother, Chester Bennett; step-father, Clyde Paul Wood of Crown City, OH; and mother in-law, Freda Plum of Reedsville. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the US Marines. He was employed as a truck driver for Knight Transportation and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father in-law, Willard Plum and brother in-law, Scot Plum. Friends will be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time with the Rev. Norman Criss officiating. Burial will follow in the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV, with full military rites.
