Obituary of David Lee Moats

David Lee Moats, 54, of Reedsville, formerly of Gettysburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

David was born in Cleveland, OH on February 18, 1964, a son of the late Clifton and Wilma (Miller) Moats.

He was employed as a mechanic at G&D Sales and Service. He also attended the Word of Life Tabernacle Church in Morgantown.

David is survived by his wife, Penny (Baker) Moats of Reedsville; a son, David Andrews; two daughters, Penny Lloyd and Kim Goulden; four brothers, Darren Moats, Dean Moats, Billy Moats and Ray Moats; four sisters, Phyllis Tasker, Donna Sines, Joan Moats and Sherry Rogers and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Allen Moats and Ronnie Moats and a sister, Wilma Pearce.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Elmer Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in the Gladesville Cemetery.
