Obituary of Alma Taylor

Alma Iris Taylor, 93 of Masontown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 13, 2015. She was born December 31, 1921 in Masontown a daughter of the late Earl "Slim" Sisler and Monnie Cale Sisler. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and a devout Christian lady. Alma is survived by one son, Marvin R. Taylor and wife Bonnie of Masontown; one nephew, Robert L. Kirk Jr. and wife Charlotte of Cross, SC, one niece, Iris G. Graham of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Franklin Petak and wife Gina of Reedsville and Teresa Ambrosio of Tucson, AZ; seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one half sister and one half brother. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, Colonel R. Taylor, in 1999; two sisters and two brothers in law. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday June 17, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald Ford officiating. To honor Alma's wishes cremation will follow. The family would like to thank Hospice Care Corp. of Arthurdale and the Preston County Senior Citizen's for all their care. It was Alma's request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice Care Corp., PO Box 760, Arthurdale, WV 26520.
