Obituary of Sandra LaRue

Sandra (Sandy) Lynn LaRue, 53, of Masontown, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Sandy was born in Morgantown on December 13, 1960, a daughter of the late Eleanor (Collins) and Ray LaRue. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. She loved being with her family and friends. Sandy is survived by two daughters, Megan Amos and husband James of Fairmont and Eva Gowers of Morgantown; one grandson, Christopher Gowers; a sister, Ellen Everson and husband John of Surf Side, SC; five brothers, Paul LaRue and wife Kathy of St. Louis, MO, Frank LaRue of Gladesville, James LaRue and companion Darla Sanders of Arthurdale, Danny LaRue and wife Kathy of Philadelphia, PA, and Ralph LaRue, Sr. of Masontown and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Albright and two lifelong companions, Larry Maxwell and Charles Shaffer. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev.
