Obituary of Rex Sisler

Rex Richard Sisler, 75, of Independence, passed away Friday December 6, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born in Independence, WV on April 11, 1938, a son of the late Garnet R. (Born) and Raymond R. Sisler. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He worked as a surface miner for many years at the Daughtery, Dipple and Dipple and Patriot Coal companies as a driller and blaster. He attended the Kingwood Southern Baptist Church. Rex is survived by his loving wife Dreama (Campbell) Sisler; two sons, William Sisler of Independence and Rex Sisler and wife Becky of Newburg; five sisters, Janet Bragg and husband Donald of Gladesville, Becky Walter of Independence, Doris Born and husband Mick of Reedsville, Delores Turner and husband James of Independence and Susie Smith and husband George of Independence; two grand children, Sierra Sisler and Dakota Sisler and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard J. Sisler and Robert R. Sisler and one sister, Agnes M. Hileman. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, December 9, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. service time with Pastor Marty Turner officiating.
