Obituary of Kester Gibson

Kester L. Gibson, 66, of Masontown passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Heartland of Preston County in Kingwood surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgantown, WV on September 10, 1947, a son of the late Helen (Garner) and Roscoe Gibson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He worked as a supervisor for Shaft Drillers International in Morgantown. Kester was a member of the St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown. He also enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Kester is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie (Miller) Fox-Gibson; a daughter, Janice Johns and husband Chris of Morgantown; two step daughters; Tracey Laskody and husband Andy of Star City and Tracy Hagedorn and husband Mike of Morgantown; two step sons, Denny Fox and Craig Fox both of Star City; a brother, Raymond Gibson of Bruceton Mills; a half sister, Loraine Wolfe and husband Dewey of Masontown; a half brother, Edwin Gibson of Albuquerque, NM and 14 grandchildren, J.D., Marisa, Haley, Brandon, Gage. Also, Courtney Hagedorn, Cole Hagedorn, Katrina Hagedorn, Alexis Fox, Aleece Fox, Makenzy Fox, Tanner Fox, Rachel Laskody and Emily Laskody. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wade Gibson; a half brother, Edgar Radabaugh and a grandson, Aiden Gibson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Fr.
