Obituary of Edith Kisner

Edith "Peg" Marion Kisner, 76, of Arthurdale passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born in Morgantown, WV on August 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Zella (Dalton) and William Shaw. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was well known for keeping her kids "straight". She was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping at Big Bear with her family and traveling to the beach. She worked for Sterling Faucet for 23 years and she retired from West Virginia University. She is survived by one daughter, Denise Kisner and companion Tapha Liston of Morgantown, five sons, Bill Kisner and wife Brenda of Arthurdale, Rodney "Gig" Kisner and Sandy of Reedsville, Tim "Slimey" Kisner and wife Debbie of Reedsville, Scott Kisner and partner Kassandra Kasten of Masontown and Marty Kisner and wife Tammy of Arthurdale; three sisters, Linda Conner and husband Glenn, Elma Sue McMillen and husband Norman and Eleanor Hart; two brothers, Jack Shaw and Gaylord Shaw and wife Dorothy; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Billy Kisner; two sisters, Lucille Dalton and Leona Stacy and two brothers, Forest Shaw and Don Shaw. Friends may call at Field Funeral Home in Masontown Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday, July 1, 2013 at Field Funeral Home with Rev.
