Obituary of Issac Mayfield

Issac "Jake" F. Mayfield, 75, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at his residence. Issac was born January 25, 1937 in Preston County a son of the late William and Goldie Mayfield. He worked as a construction laborer for 40 years at the Zambrano Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA and was a member of the Local #373 Laborers' District Council of Pittsburgh, PA. Issac's passions were for gardening, hunting, gun bashes, auctions and animals. Everywhere he went his four-legged best friend and side kick Sheila was with him. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Linda Shaffer Williams and husband Terry, Tracy Riley and husband Pat, and Tony Mayfield and wife Shirley, all of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Michael Shaffer and wife Amanda, Derek Glover, Mikaela Glover, Toni Lynn Dalton and husband Steve, Patrick Riley, Autum Riley, Tanner Mayfield, Raymond Mayfield and Terri Ann Sivak and husband Nick; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Mayfield of Masontown and Ada Providence of Morgantown and many nieces and nephews. Issac was preceded in death by five sisters, Marie Strain, Maybel Murray, Juanita Molisee, Blanche Wright and Mary Allen Mayfield; two brothers, Bill Mayfield and Ralph Shaffer. He was also preceded in death by his former wife Sally Allen Mayfield. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. to until the 11 a.m. service time with Pastor Terry Hagedorn and Pastor Marvin Shaffer officiating.
