Obituary of Paul Samuel Turner

Paul Samuel "Sammy" Turner, 60, of Masontown, WV, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center, in Morgantown with family by his side.

Born on June 8, 1963, in Kingwood, WV, he was a son of the late Roy Donald and Clara Alice (Stafford) Turner.

Sammy was a 1982 graduate from West Preston High School. He was a trucker at heart, driving several years for Donald Turner Trucking. Sammy enjoyed watching Nascar and sports. He loved his animals, especially his deer that he would regularly feed. Sammy enjoyed summer pool parties with his wife, friends, "second wifey", Patty and "Little Sister", Nicole Johnson. Sammy's biggest joy in life was his family, especially his grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Sammy is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Gina (Gamble) Turner; sons, Landry Turner and Ryan Turner; daughters, Heather Turner-McCrobie, Rachel Salisbury, and step-daughter Tai Forman; 15 grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Grayson, Paisley, Hannah, Ila, Felicity, Winter, Taevien, Lochlan, Xavian, Brier, Lainey, Kylei, and Rayna; brothers, Larry Turner and wife, Barbara, Jeffery Turner and wife, Robin, and Danny Turner and wife, Carol; sister, Cathy Everly and husband, Mark; sister-in-law, Amy Turner; special nephew, Riley and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Sammy is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Turner and Kramer Turner.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm and Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 12:00 pm until the 1:00 pm time of service with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. To honor Sammy's wishes, cremation services will follow.

A dinner will be held after the service for family and friends at the Masontown VFW Social Hall. Anyone wishing to make donations for the dinner is asked to contact Brenda Sisler Kisner via Facebook.
