Velma worked with my mom for years at the dental office. She was always so nice to me when I called or came in. She had a great sense of humor, and was a great friend to my mom. What a wonderful person, and I’m happy to have known her.

I work for Crossroads Property Rescue. Velma was the best customer that I have ever done work for. She always had a smile on her face and treated us like family. I have kept in touch with her after the completion of the job, either by phone calls, or stopping by her house just to say hi. So sad to hear of her passing. Sure gonna miss that lovely angel. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

It was always a joy to visit with all of you every time we came back to WV. I really enjoyed the times of all of you around the piano singing. Now your folks are singing together in Heaven.
I know what it is like loosing a Mom being mine left just 3 months ago. You can be sure your Mom and mine are having a blast being together again.
Our prayers are with you.

Velma was my youth choir director. We had a large choir and were quite good! We traveled to many other churches to preform. Then many years later, she catered my wedding. She was very talented. She was a leader in the church and in the community of Masontown. She touched many lives and I'm sure she will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you Bev and your family.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest things to deal with in life. However, we can draw comfort from the Bible account of the resurrection of Jesus' friend, Lazarus, recorded at John 11: 11-14. Just as Jesus awakened Lazarus, one day we too will see our loved ones again as promised at John 5:28, 29 and Rev. 21: 3, 4. Until that day comes, it is my hope that you will continue to be comforted by the words found at Jeremiah 29: 11, 12. We are assured that when we pray to Jehovah God, he will listen.
