Obituary of Texal A. Beltz

Texal A. Beltz, Sr., 81, of Reedsville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. He was born in Eldorado, IL on June 8, 1935, a son of the late Charles Austin and Mary Naomi (Pankey) Beltz. Texal worked as an optician for many years in Lincoln, NE, Michigan, and for Lenscrafters in Hickory, NC. He is survived by two sons; Brian Andrew Beltz-Davenport of VA, Texal "Andy" Andrew Beltz Jr. of St. Joseph, MO; two grandsons, Canan Radley Beltz and Logan Andrew Davenport; two sisters, Lillian Early and husband Robert of Morganton, NC and Carol Sue Cross and husband Nolan of West Branch, MI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles A. Beltz and Donald E. Beltz. To honor his wishes, he will be cremated and his cremains will be placed in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. The Field Funeral Home in Masontown is in charge of arrangements.
