Obituary of Phyllis Jean Collins

Phyllis Jean Collins, 65, of Reedsville, WV, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Albright, WV on May 28, 1951, a daughter of the late Junior A. and Doris P. (Kelly) Wilhelm. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Albright Baptist church. She was a member of the Lenox Homemakers Club and worked for the Preston County Senior Center where she cared for the elderly. She also loved to can and garden. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Robert R. Collins; one son, Lester G. Sisler and companion Kathryn Staub of Franklin; one daughter, Amanda D. Sisler DeBarr and husband Tyler of Reedsville; two step sons, David G. Collins and wife Billie Jo of Masontown and Ronald W. Collins and wife Tina of Kingwood; one step daughter, Michele A. Koch and husband John of Smock, PA; four brothers, Ronald (Doodle) Wilhelm, Joseph Wilhelm, John Wilhelm and wife Karen, all of Kingwood and Robert J. (Squeek) Wilhelm and companion Dolly of Lakewood, OH; one sister, Mary Ann Brewer and husband Bill of Kingwood; two grandchildren, Ashlynn and Colton; six step grandchildren; one step great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard F. Sisler; one brother, Richard (Buck) Wilhelm, grandparents whom raised her, Elias R. Kelly and Mary Ruth (Titchnell) Kelly and grandparents, Albert and Wafie Allen Wilhelm. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Lamm officiating.
