Wilma E. Massie, 84, of Independence, WV, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Kingwood Healthcare Center.

She was born in Elizabeth, PA on September 10, 1941, a daughter of the late Clyde Isner and Helen Rachel Ann (Sheets) Isner.

Wilma was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She had a green thumb, especially for her dahlia flowers. Wilma enjoyed chatting on the phone but above all loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Massie and companion, Terry Spiker of Valley Point; grandchildren, Justin Blosser and wife, Kristen of Mill Creek, Brandon Massie of Bretz and Sheldon Blosser of Phillipi, and two great grandchildren, Layton and Laney Blosser and her brother, Gary Inser of Independence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Massie; her sister, Helen Isner and her brother, Jennings Walter "Sonny" Isner.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 11 am until the 1 pm time of memorial service with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wilma's niece, Marie Ross of Grafton; Clark and Ruth St. Clair of Reedsville and Chance and Scotter Blosser of Bretz.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Field Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
