Donna Elizabeth McNeil, 81, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, during a stay with family in Rowlesburg.

She was born in Abilene, TX on August 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert Huston and Betty Jean (Steele) Shannon Bell.

Donna was a retired LPN and an active member of the M.O.C.A. Post #9862 of Gaithersburg, MD.

Donna is survived by five children, Carol Clapp of Pickerington, OH, William Hart Jr. of Hedgesville, WV, Playford "Mickey" Hart of Martinsburg, WV, Robert Hart Sr. of Harpers Ferry, WV and Kelly Ward of Harpers Ferry, WV; two sisters, Patricia J. Wotring of Rowlesburg and Joyce Bolyard of Tunnelton; one brother, Robert Shannon of Edgemont, SD (their children, Gwen Cowley, Jesse and Jeffrey Shannon, Robin Humphries and Christine Richards); 25 grandchildren; 33+ great grandchildren as well and numerous friends.

To honor Donna's wishes, she will be cremated and no public services will be held. Field Funeral Home in Masontown has been entrusted with professional and compassionate cremation services.
