Howard Wesley Goff, 70, of Reedsville, WV, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.

He was born in Kingwood, on January 19, 1956, son of the late Lawrence Truman and Ruby Jane (Stevens) Goff.

Howard was a beloved brother, uncle and friend to many. He worked for 35 years as a mechanic at Scott Ford in Kingwood. He was a 1974 graduate of Tunnelton High School. He loved working on old Ford trucks and cars. Many people came to "Doctor Ford" for his advice and knowledge. He cherished those friendships and the time spent together in the garage. He loved entering his trucks in the Reedsville Mud Bogs and the Coke Ovens Raceway.

Howard is survived by two sisters, Jane Stanton and husband, Jim, of Albright and Cheryl Cramer and fiancé, Tom Frantz of Cranesville; aunt, Dolly Ridenour; uncle, Herbert Stevens; nieces; Missy Pritt, Kelly Wheeler, Susan Murphy and husband Kevin, Lori Lewis and Jessica Cramer; nephew, Harry "Brad" Goff; former nephews in law, Rodney Lewis and Justin Wheeler and several great nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by a nephew in law, Moe Pritt.

Friends may call at Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 4 to 8 pm. and on Monday, July 13, 2026, from noon until the 1 pm time of service. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Kingwood.
