Alice Louise "Nanny" (Titchnell) Gamble, 71, of Kingwood, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.

She was born December 2, 1954, in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of the late James R. "Doc" Titchnell and Cloe Etta "Blondie" (Jenkins) Titchnell.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Alice was a graduate of Masontown High School Class of 1973. Alice lived her life with a servant's heart, always caring for others. She was fondly known as Nanny for this very reason. For several years she worked as a CNA at Sundale Nursing Home. Alice enjoyed playing cards and coloring but above all her family was her pride and joy.

She is survived by one son, Carl Gamble and companion, Michelle Barto; one daughter, Mirandia "Sissy" Bayless and husband, Wayne; two brothers, Willard "Joe" Titchnell and wife, Brenda and Francis Titchnell; seven grandchildren, Cassidy, Jennifer, Alyson, Travis Jake Jr., Waylon, Kody and Sofia; three great grandchildren, Roselyn Marie, Hunter and Nathan; step grandchildren, Myella and Ryder; two very important children, Courtney "Ants in the pants" Calp and Jaxon Williams; many nieces and nephews and caretaker, Bill Molisee.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William "Cocky" Gamble; one daughter, Jane Sharak; four brothers, Kenneth Titchnell, James "Buck" Titchnell, Dyer "Bud" Titchnell and Harley "Pete" Titchnell; three sisters, Marie Sites, Beulah Gamble and Mary Gamble.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 2 until 8 pm. and Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11 am until the 1 pm time of service with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Field Funeral Home will provide professional and compassionate cremation services. Inurnment will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
