Edna Beryl Blaney, 90, of Rowlesburg, WV, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at her home.

She was born February 3, 1936, in Masontown, WV, a daughter of the late James Logan Taylor and Ruby Ethel (Lambert) Taylor.

Edna took on the most important job as a homemaker. She loved a good meal and socializing. Edna also enjoyed puzzles, game shows, walking, "running the streets," taking long drives and stopping at Little Sandy's and Cool Spring Store. Family was the most important to her, but all her grandchildren were her pride and joy!

She is survived by three sons, Garry Fay Blaney, of Rowlesburg, Rickey Lee Blaney, of Terra Alta, and Ronald Allen Blaney, of Kingwood; one daughter, Connie Sue Blaney, of Rowlesburg; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lester Blaney; one son, Donald Ray Taylor; two sisters, Marie Jean Gibson and Lois Dean Taylor; five brothers, Lawrence E. Taylor, James A. Taylor, Oscar H. Taylor, Olaf Taylor and Orien "Joe" Taylor.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Masontown, WV.
