Fred D Clark of Reedsville, WV, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Kingwood Healthcare in Kingwood, WV.

He was born on January 29, 1939, in McKeesport, PA, a son to the late Harold and Mary (Walker) Clark.

Fred followed his father's business, H F Clark Motor Co, an American Motors dealer in West Mifflin, PA, then as a used car dealer in White Oak, PA, and eventually worked at an auto transport company in Ruffs Dale, PA. After retiring, he drove for Mountain State Auto Auction until he was 83.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Hurst Clark of Reedsville, WV; his daughters, Carol George of Largo, FL, and Bonni Robinson and Richard of Reedsville, WV; brother, Tom Clark of White Oak, PA; sisters, Joyce Reed and Joe of Apollo, PA, and Jan Batterton and Jim of Brookfield, CT; grandchildren (and great grandchildren) Joe George (Karsyn and Kru), Mike George, Nathan George (Harley and Kenzlee), Sydney and TJ DeNofrio, Hannah and Ryan Butela (Gabriel), Emily Prince, Megan Prince, and Dakota Clark.

Fred was preceded in death by his son, James "Jimbo" Clark.

Private services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. To honor his wishes, Fred will be cremated. The Field Funeral Home of Masontown, WV, will provide professional and compassionate cremation services.
