Harmon Marion Wolfe Obituary
Harmon Marion Wolfe, 66, of Morgantown, WV, beloved husband, father, brother, son and uncle, went to be with our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born on November 5, 1959, in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Roy Marvin and Georgia Grace (McDonald) Wolfe and spent his life with the late Kramer and Hazel (Wolfe) Turner both of Morgantown.
Harmon loved the country and the mountains. He loved being a farmer, spending time just sitting outside and watching the wildlife, no matter how big or small. Most of all he loved all his family and friends. There wasn't a person he met that he wasn't an instant friend. His presence enriched the lives of all who knew him and his memory will be treasured by family and friends alike. He worked for over 30 years for Lanta Contractors, which he truly enjoyed. He especially liked the friendship with his boss Kent Pauley and his wife Christine, who became instant family.
Harmon is survived by his beloved wife, Amber (Amy) Groover Wolfe; daughter, Hazel Grace Wolfe and husband, Jack of Morgantown; a sister, Carol Helmick and husband, Roy of Point Marion; two brothers, Roy Cecil Wolfe and wife, Beverly of Tunnelton, Jack Wolfe and wife, Patty of Fellowsville; three sisters-in-law, Jennifer Groover and her daughter, Katie of Morgantown, Jamie Stephens and husband, Ed of Kentucky; and Marianne Varner (Rickey Hickman) and daughter, Madeline of Morgantown; one brother-in-law, John Varner; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Randy Yost and wife Robin and too many others to name.
In addition to his parents, Harmon was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Roger Wolfe and one sister, Donna Plum; mother-in-law, Kathleen Spak and aunt, Carole Speer.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from noon until the 2 pm time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
