Diana L "Bush" Lowdermilk Obituary

Diana L. "Bush" Lowdermilk, 64, of Masontown, WV, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at home.


 


She was born on May 17, 1961, in Kingwood, WV, a daughter to the late Wade Bernard "Buck Lowdermilk and Elizabeth Ann (Manko) Lowdermilk.


 


She was a 1979 graduate of West Preston high School. Bush was a hard worker, being employed for the last 20 years with CZS Development. She was a die-hard Miami Dolphins Football fan. In high school Bush played for the girls' basketball team, helping them go to states twice. In her younger years she also enjoyed playing softball. Bush spent many summers camping with her parents and sisters. Above all she loved spending time with her family, especially all her nieces and nephews.


 


Bush is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Whittaker and husband Mark and Margie Lowdermilk-Moran; nieces and nephews, Harley Wiley, Elizabeth Miller, Stephanie Poland, Jennifer Whittaker, Heather Whittaker, Michael Lowdermilk, and Kattie Donahue; 20 great nieces and nephews, and aunt, Ilene Livengood


 


In addition to her parents Bush is preceded in death by a brother, Wade "Bucky" Lowdermilk; five uncles and two aunts.


 


To honor Bush's wishes, she will be cremated. The Field Funeral Home of Masontown, WV, will provide professional and compassionate cremation services. A celebration of life will be held at the Masontown VFW Social Hall on Saturday January 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The family requests everyone to bring their best stories of Bush, an empty belly, wear their Miami Dolphins apparel, and if you enjoy another team, to wear their apparel with pride!
