Robert Franklin Lambert, Jr., 77, of Kingwood, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood, WV.

He was born on May 9, 1948, in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Robert Franklin Lambert, Sr. and Grace (Molisee) Lambert.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Marines on the front line during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda (Mayfield) Lambert; one son, Robert F. Lambert, III; one daughter, Kimberly Sue Lambert Schultz and husband, William, Sr.; one grandchild, William M. Schultz II; one great grandchild, Jaxson William Schultz; two brothers, Fred Lambert and wife, Joyce and Jeffrey Lambert and wife, Stephanie; four sisters, Patricia Coulter, Sharon Weese and husband, Narvel, Brenda Walters and husband, Craig, and Lisa Herod, and half-sister, Susie Young and husband, Leon.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by a son, Richard Scott "Nub" Lambert; brother, John Lambert, and sister, Janetta Ann Waldo.

A graveside service will be held at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV, on a later date. Military rites will be conducted by the Preston County Honor Guard VFW Post 1589 of Masontown, WV.
