Wade "Buck" Bernard Lowdermilk, Sr., 89, of Masontown, WV, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at home with family by his side.

He was born in Masontown, WV on February 12, 1936, a son of the late Ernest and Goldie (Robinson) Lowdermilk.

Buck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Masontown and he served on the Masontown Water Board. He was a former member of the Masontown Town Council and the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department. Buck worked for many years as a coal miner and retired from Consolidated Coal. He was an avid sports fan of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Buck is survived by this three daughters, Carolyn Whittaker and husband Mark, Margie Lowdermilk and Diana "Bush" Lowdermilk; grandchildren, Harley Wiley, Stephanie Poland, Kattie Donahue, Elizabeth Miller, Jennifer Whittaker, Heather Whittaker, and Michael Lowdermilk; 20 great grandchildren and one sister, Ilene Livengood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann (Manko) Lowdermilk; his son, Wade "Bucky" Lowdermilk, Jr.; brothers, Clyde, Bob, Richard, Ernest and Eddie Lowdermilk and two sisters, Eleanor Taylor, Maxine Gibson.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 2 until 6 pm and Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from noon until the 1 pm time of service with Adam Donahue officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
