Junette Arvada DeWitt, 65, of Fairmont, WV, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Kingwood, WV on December 13, 1959, a daughter of the late Junior Okey Thomas and LaVerna Stella (Matthews) Thomas.

Junette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a 1978 graduate of Valley High School in Masontown. Junette worked as a seamstress for 17 years, encompassing her love of sewing. She also worked as an executive assistant for the CEO of Mylan. In her down time, she enjoyed spoiling her grandkids, reading, gardening, and cooking. Junette loved to travel any time she had the opportunity.

Junette is survived by her son, Kirk Riley and companion Ashley of Oklahoma City, OK; three daughters, Tiffany DeBiase and husband Brian of Fairmont, WV; Hillary Santee and husband Cash of Barrackville, WV and Emily DeWitt and companion Max of Fayetteville, NC; seven grandchildren, Gunner Riley, Seth DeBiase, Piper Hookala, Ryan Cahall, Miles Jacobson, Grayson Cahall and Jackson Cahall; two brothers, Skip Thomas and wife Nancy of Masontown, and Duane Thomas of Reedsville; two sisters, Kathy Sanders and husband Tim of Bretz and Dottie Taylor and husband Joe of Lennox, WV; several nieces and nephews and her fur babies, Stella and Sadie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Billie Thomas.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from noon – 2 and 4 – 6 pm. A celebration of Junette's life will be held on December 13, 2025. The location and time will be announced at a later date.
