James Hobert Hill, 78, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at New Horizon Assisted Living in Kingwood, WV.

He was born December 25, 1946, in Howesville, WV, a son of the late Charles Roscoe and Catherine Rudell (Weaver) Hill.

Jim was a loving brother, son, uncle and friend. He was always on the go, whether it was working on his farm that he loved or just visiting and spending time with others.

He is survived by his two brothers, Hope Hill and wife, Bonnie of Terra Alta and Gene Hill and wife, Sue of White Oak North Carolina; two nephews, Shelby Jon Hill and wife, Trina and Gene Hill Jr. and wife, Krissy and two nieces, Toni Hill and Kelli Lynn Hill.

To honor Jim’s wishes there will be no public visitation or service. Field Funeral Home will provide compassionate and professional cremation services.
