Darlene M Baniak Obituary

Darlene (Butler) Baniak, 80, of Masontown, WV, passed away, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood.



Darlene was born April 13, 1945, in Keyser, WV, daughter of the late Irvin and Myrtle Leatherman of Keyser.



She was an avid bowler for many years and loved to sew and bake goodies for her family and friends.



She is survived by her son, Carl Butler Jr. and wife Shannon of Masontown; one sister, Evelyn McCabe and husband John of Augusta, WV; three grandchildren, Joshua Butler of Masontown, Tracey Rodeheaver and husband Jared of Independence and Courtney Butler of Masontown; three great grandchildren, Wyatt Butler, Raegan Rodeheaver and Jana Clark and several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Baniak; one daughter, Debby Bennear and husband David and one son, Jimmy Butler.



Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10 am until the 12 noon Liturgy outside of mass with Father Dominic Athishu as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
