
Obituary of Roxie Ann Turner
Roxie Ann Turner, 73, of Masontown, WV, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at home with family by her side.
She was born in Morgantown, WV on December 5, 1951, a daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Huggins) Soccorsi.
Roxie was a long-time member of the Masontown town council, and most recently, former Mayor of Masontown. She worked as an orthodontic technician for Sanders' Orthodontics for many years. Roxie was always passionate with everything she did and never slowed down. She enjoyed camping, river sitting, and trips to the beach. She was an avid WVU fan, especially their football and basketball teams. Roxie loved her family and above all loved watching her grandchildren.
Roxie is survived by a daughter, Tracey Park and husband, Brian of Grafton; son, Travis Turner and wife, Mary Anne of Masontown; four grandchildren, Kylie Wilhelm and husband, Jonathan, Hayden Park, Jackson Turner, and Bailey Turner; one great-grandson, Barrett Wesley Wilhelm; brother, Robert "Rick" Soccorsi and wife, Karen, and a niece, Julie Soccorsi.
In addition to her parents, Roxie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Bradley "Beany" Turner in March 2012.
To honor her wishes, Roxie will be cremated. The Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV will provide compassionate and professional cremation services.
Friends may be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 pm with Pastor Robert Smith officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice especially nurse, Jill Eaglen, and private care givers; Wendy Piper and Kitt Lafferre, for the compassionate assistance and care they gave to Roxie and her family.
