John Dale "Johny" Sisler Sr., 73, of Reedsville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at his home.

He was born in Preston, WV on April 8, 1951, a son of the late Homer and Agnes Sisler.

Johny married the love of his life, Margaret, on January 11, 1970. He worked as a set-up man at Sterling Faucet for over 25 years. He also worked in the timber industry and farmed. Johny served in the Merchant Marines when he was younger. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved working on hotrods, hunting, fishing, camping, and sitting in his chair with a beer in one hand and a smoke in the other. Most of all, Johny enjoyed picking on his loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Duane Sisler; two grandchildren, Lance Sisler and Cortnie Sisler; two brothers, Ernie Sisler and Randy Sisler; two sisters, Diane Shrut and Kim Dixon; one daughter-in-law, Shannon Sisler; special friends Roxie, Morgan, Ida, Jeremy and Luke, family from New York; and many other dear family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann (Martin) Sisler and a son, John Dale Sisler, Jr.

Compassionate and professional cremation services will be provided by Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV. To honor Johny's wishes there will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Field Funeral Home, 10537 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Masontown, WV 26542, to help defray funeral expenses.
