Obituary of Carrie Ann Ankney

Carrie Ann Ankney,40, of Reedsville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Carrie was born in Waynesburg, PA on February 22, 1976, a daughter of Jerry Ankney and Martha (Zaverack) Ankney of Reedsville. She was a 1994 graduate of Preston High School and a member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Kingwood. She was a loving and sweet daughter, sister and aunt. Carrie dearly loved all of her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin sister, Sherri Ankney of Reedsville; a brother, Mark Ankney of Reedsville; a nephew, Jackson Ankney; a niece, Zoe Ankney and many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Anna and Roman Zaverack and paternal grandparents, Paul and Garnett Ankney. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday November 2, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday November 3, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time with Fr. Andrew Switzer officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Rd, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
