Obituary of Junior E. Cobb

Junior E. Cobb, 89, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood. He was born in Sutton, WV on December 25, 1926, a son of the late Andrew and Trecie (Cogar) Cobb. Junior worked many years on the railroad and various local farms. He enjoyed playing bingo. He is survived by three brothers, Denver Cobb of Lake Lynn, PA, Edward Cobb of Orlando, WV, Donald Cobb of Simpson, WV, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Baber; two brothers, Dale Cobb and Kenneth Cobb and three half sisters, Vergie Cobb Carpenter, Ada Belle Newman and Flora Cobb. Friends may call at Field Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Herring, WV.
