Obituary of John Forman Cale

John F. Cale, Sr., 67, of Arthurdale, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born January 17, 1949, in Valley Point, WV, a son of the late Herbert F. Cale and Helen Conner Cale Blosser. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a truck driver for 50 years. John loved hunting, fishing, antique cars, motorcycles and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn (Hussing) Cale; one daughter, Tracy Lynn Cale of Daytona, FL; two sons, John Cale Jr. and companion Amy of Buckhannon, WV and Kenneth Ray Cale and wife Hillary of Reedsville, WV; four grandchildren, Gunnar, Haley, Madison and Wyatt; four brothers, Donald Cale, Larry Cale and wife Donna, David Cale and Rick Cale and wife Danelle, all of Masontown; one sister, Ruth Ann Martin and husband John of Kingsland, GA; half-sister, Kim Kisner; two step-siblings, Roger Blosser and wife Karen and James Strahin and wife Brenda and several nieces and nephews with whom he was close. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 11, 2016 at noon with Pastor Rich Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to ResCare for the wonderful care John received.
